1. Overview
LETHOMETRY ("we", "our", "us") is a research archive covering anomalous phenomena, declassified patterns, and suppressed technology. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
Server logs: Standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) retained for 30 days for security and traffic analysis, then deleted.
Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics service. Plausible does not collect personal data, set cookies, or track users across sites. Page views are aggregated and anonymous.
3. Cookies
LETHOMETRY does not use cookies. We do not run advertising networks, third-party trackers, or social media pixels.
4. Third-Party Services
Cloudflare: Site traffic is proxied through Cloudflare for DDoS protection and SSL termination. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts: Orbitron, Rajdhani, and Share Tech Mono are self-hosted on our own infrastructure at lethometry.com/fonts/. We do not load fonts from third-party CDNs.
Plausible Analytics: Self-hosted at plausible.lethometry.com. Cookie-free and fully GDPR-compliant. See Plausible's data policy.
YouTube/Vimeo embeds: When an article embeds a video, the embed provider may log a request when you load the page. Privacy-enhanced modes (youtube-nocookie.com) are used where available.
5. Your Rights
You can request export or deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us via the address on the Contact page. We respond within 30 days.
6. Data Security
All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS with HSTS preloading. The site is served from infrastructure that we operate; we follow industry-standard hardening practices.
7. Changes
We will post any material changes to this policy on this page with an updated revision date.

Data Retention
Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and then automatically deleted. Analytics data collected by our self-hosted Plausible instance is retained indefinitely in aggregated, anonymous form. We do not store any personally identifiable information.
Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties. The only third-party services involved in serving this site are Cloudflare (DDoS protection and SSL termination) and our self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance. Neither service collects personally identifiable information from visitors.
